It's either engagement for insight – you actually want to better understand the business so you can better evaluate the risks – and there's also engagement to facilitate change. A: Melanie Adams Proxy voting is an important way that we can influence change. For example, we are quite progressive on gender diversity and require that every board have at least two female board members. And we evaluate our guidelines on an annual basis. We update them and continue to make changes to keep moving the needle in this area. Q: Why is RBC Global Asset Management a leader in responsible investment?
